GOD FORBID To Play Benefit Show
May 12, 2005New Jersey thrash titans GOD FORBID have announced that they will be playing a benefit concert at the Wayne Firehouse in Wayne, NJ on Saturday, June 4. "This effort is to help and support our good friend Frank Peigaro," reads a post on the group's web site. "Frank has previously played in punk pioneers THE DEGENERICS, hardcore vets ENSIGN, and is now embarking on a solo career. Unfortunately, Frank has been fighting a rare skin disease for several years, and this benefit was put together to help him fund a recovery. Other acts to be featured will be BIG WIG, FOR THE LOVE OF…, ENSIGN, Tim from AVAIL, NORA, THE RATCHETS, THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU, FANSHEN, THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, and HOT CROSS. There will also be raffles with merchandise and gift certificates donated by Eyeball Records, Chunksaah Records, Asian Man Records, XOXO Records, One Day Savior Records, Curmedgeon Music, Triple Crown Records, Trustkill Records, Insound.com, and many more. GOD FORBID recently entered the studio to begin pre-production on their highly anticipated new album, "IV: Constitution Of Treason", with Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM) at Audiohammer Studios. GOD FORBID were scheduled to join back up with Suecof and Eric Rachel (ATREYU, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) this month at Trax East to begin tracking the new effort. The album is tentatively set for an October release.
